There are a multitude of ways to travel to Fontwell Park Racecourse. When we asked Mike Parcej, a friend of the racecourse and passionate horse racing fan, here's what he had to say:
"The nearest railway station is of course Barnham, which is two miles away. The racecourse is situated in Fontwell. This is served by an excellent bus service linking Chichester and Littlehampton, which stops at both Barnham station and the racecourse. The number 500 bus service departs every 30 minutes from Chichester commencing 6.25am, and from Littlehampton every 30 mins commencing 5.35am. A very useful connection."
Shuttle Bus
The shuttle bus will be operating from Barnham Railway Station to Fontwell Park for gates opening up until the time of the first race and will recommence from the penultimate race until 30 minutes after the last race (This service is not run on Boxing Day).
Bus
The Stagecoach 500 bus operates from Littlehampton - Chichester. The bus arrives and departs from Fontwell Roundabout, a few minutes walk from the racecourse. You can view the bus timetable here.

Fontwell Park is situated on the A27/A29 roundabout between Chichester and Arundel. Access to our main car park on racedays is from Fontwell Avenue (A29 towards Bognor Regis), the entrance is 300 yards from the roundabout on the right-hand side. With prior permission, helicopters can land on the course on racedays. Light aircraft can land at nearby Goodwood (by prior arrangement). Fontwell Park recommends Elite Helicopters 0800 804 8812.
