Get your weekend off to a winning start! Over the course of our 2 day festival, we’re in for some thrilling action on the track with 13 top class races (featuring two Class 2 races) and over £100,000 in combined prize money!
It all begins on the Friday at 2:05pm with a six-race card, the highlight of which will be the £18,500 Class 2 Handicap Chase at 3:05. Saturday’s card is seven-strong with a £15,000 Handicap Hurdle as the feature race of the day!
Over the years we’ve seen some real talent attend the festival, including Alan King trained Chosen Path, winner of the ‘Marstons Kaltenberg Novices Hurdle’, the gelding went on to run a Class 1 race at Aintree just months later.
Gary Moore trained, Sussex Ranger went from winning a Class 4 Juvenile Hurdle here at Fontwell, straight onto a Class 2 win at Sandown – followed by a Class 1 run at Cheltenham!
Alongside top notch racing, you can experience the fantastic Oktoberfest atmosphere as you cheer your horse past the Winning Post, stein in hand! Available for every ticket-holder, we’ll have our traditional Bavarian tent open with bespoke German lagers, traditional German cuisine and an oompah band playing throughout the day!
